It’s Snowing! And I want to lick Chicken Balls

It is snowing, and hard. This morning Kathy and I went downtown to hit up the farmer’s market. I wasn’t sure how busy or how many vendors would be there since it is the weekend but it was pretty full. A lot of yummy cheeses surrounded me. Kathy and I got an octopus. I hope kitty plays with it. The money goes to help rescue kitties so it is all good. It was a little chilly when we first got there. When we left it was raining, at first not too much, just a nice little shower but the drops just kept getting colder and bigger. The chinease grocery store by the farmer’s market has hot food ready to eat. I wonder if it has chicken balls. Oh so yummy and tender, I must eat chicken balls. I’m not sure the name of the building but we ducked inside the one that had the Sears outlet. It is no longer there. It was the first time I went in through that entrance, there really isn’t much in there. We hit the carbon computing store to see if they had any neat cases for laptops. They had some sleeves that seem to just mostly protect it from scratches and the occasional bump inside of a backpack but not too much. They had some armour laptop bag that were just solid and padded.

They also had a neat backpack with all kinds of pockets. Damn I need a new Mac. Now prepare yourself, for tonight we fornicate!

When we got out of the computer store, the rain began to turn a bit more snowish. The bus was fun at this point when we got on since the front was crowded with strollers and wheelchairs and people not realizing that chairs can be moved so at the front we weren’t all crowded, meh. After we got out of the yarn and food store it was just absoletly snowing. It was hard to lookup. At least it wasn’t extremely cold.

We might go see a movie later at school, should be fun, and damn I like chili and beans. I need to get my resume together. My nephew is having his birthday party today so I am missing out on ice cream cake. Oh yeah my big pleco died and so did all my other recently purchased fish. There is something wrong with the water because almost everything in the tank died at once. Except for the snails which are still everywhere and are not going away. Apparently they consume dead flesh and clown loaches eat them. I had my nephew look them up and find a way for me to get rid of them that didn’t involve me taking all the rocks out of my tank. Without realizing what 50F is he told me they would go dormant and hiberate in the rocks if I could get my 110 gallon tank that is indoors to that temperature, than I could vacuum them out of the rocks. That child is daft, or at least didn’t realize what the temperature is.

There were a couple here and there, yesterday none. I come home today and I thought a plant was in the filter because it was very clogged. It was about 4 or 5 fishies. They all bit the bucket at one time, odd. I am worried about my pleco. He has been out more, even when the light is on. Not only that but he has been much more active moving around and sucking on the glass all over the tank and moving from spot to spot pretty quickly. His body doesn’t look quite right. The cat is really enjoying it. He continously jumps from the TV (that is next to the tank) to the top of the tank and back down trying to get at the fish. Sometimes he’ll stand up and look in (as best as he can). He is so fascinated by the tank, he spends so much time looking at it. Even sitting on a chair away from it he just turns his head to look at it. Yesterday it looked like he was going to try to sleep but instead he stuck his head out from the chair and looked behind the chair so he could look at the tank. He is very silly.

Well it looks like Zellers has been sold, or well at least a recomendation was made, unless someone tops the offer it might go to him. Strangely enough I got a letter in the mail from HBC saying I am no longer an employee of Zellers. I am a Bay employee now, at least according to my paycheque, the difference other than that is nothing.

I was thinking of signing up for a flickr account but for the cost of 2 years and a bit I could just buy another hard drive to back up my photos. I’m not sure if the power supply in my Acer could handle it but I guess I could always temporarily retire the 8 GB seagate in the other one, ole reliable. I need to figure out what I should do with RRSPs, I don’t have much and I think I may want to hold on to it in case my job isn’t around much longer. Scotiabank has the worst mutual funds, in 9 years I think I am almost at the amount I initially put into them.

Oh well I have some fish to net out of a filter.

It was still moist! and it was dry food, the cat carried it all up the stairs in his stomache for me. A great way to wake up. Work feels so dead endish right now and why not it is for me but I have only myself to blame, I don’t open my resume much or at all.

I got Battlestar Galattica min series, a bit more than I expected but I had it covered with a gift card. Time seems to go by so quickly sometimes I wonder how much of it I have wasted, there is so much more I could be doing. At least it is January, time will feel slow for the next while at least. Some day I need to shrink my pics and put them online.

My Head Hurts Some More

I came back from my vacation. It was a fun 10 days although it was originally suppose to be like 20 or something, meh. Didn’t get out a whole lot and ate sushi until I got sick. I didn’t see any giant tomatoes but I did get to see giant kitties and a weiner dog.

I switched departments at work, not quite sure if I am doing stuff correctly but I guess i’ll find out on Monday. I did get to make a couple of VB scripts for someone so I am learning, yay.

On the present front I didn’t really want anything at all, after all I got nobody anything really and Kathy got a cheap book she wanted and a bumble, yes a bumble! I got Arrested Development Season 1 and 2 as well as some boots that hurt my feet a lot that I am told I’ll be able to stretch and something else that I can’t really remember at the moment since I am so tired. Oh Super Scrable.

I got some Tiger Barbs yesterday and some other fish and the cat is absolutely fascinated by them, he sits far from the tank now and just watches everything in there. He loves it.

I was thinking of getting some more but those plans are put on hold now since the power steering in my car broke. Not just a line but the whole thing and it is 800 bones to replace and repair. A whole 1/3 of my car’s value. It broke down in Brampton so I had to find someplace that could even look at it tonight and hope they could repair it in time so I could go home eventually. Since it wasn’t something simple like a line they had to order stuff in that wouldn’t make it in time and I had to call around until I found someone who could give me a ride home.

I’m going to sleep now, I am very tired. Did I write about the story about getting lost in Brantford? That town is ghetto.

A lot of people camped out for Xboxes, I’m sure most are just going to turn around and sell them for 3 times their worth and than microsoft will unleash their hoard of xboxes just in time for 3 weeks to xmas.

I worked at a store again today. It was OK, my boss has a tiny car that I had to slouch in. I’m worried that the GMM thinks I’m lazy but he put me in charge of some marketing thing. It really is a minor nothing thing but just weird that he put me as the point man.

I have slugs growing in my fish tank. I have since turned on my filter and they are still there. I was hoping they would magically dissappear. My honey thought the fish tank smelled bad before, now you can really smell it. My bills were under 200 this month which is nice, I think I overpaid the month before so I guess it doesn’t really count.

I got the cat more cat nip with a ball in it. He was playing with the red mouse earlier in the day, he knocked it under the treadmill and than ran to other side and was looking back and forth to figure out where it ran off to, than he just went all over the treadmill figuring the mouse was underneathe.

I got him another bag with catnip and a ball inside. Kitty loves the fresh stuff and gave off a lot of weird meows. I guess he won’t be sleeping much.

I’m tired now. Today I had enough time in the morning to shower early on and than with my touque did my famous touque combing technique. I apparently wowed a lot of people. My hair is starting to look mulletish too. Some hair in the back is getting fluffier and is sticking out more to the sides.

my neighbour Nelson saw me in costume and called me over. He suggested it is always a good time to have a baby, I wanted to slap him hard. Meh. I need an army of cats to keep me warm at night. Oh yeah, Chris and Jen both have cats now. Jen brought over her cat and apparently they play very well with eachother unlink Henry and Kitty. Henry follows around the other cat always wanting to know where he is and wants to be in the same room. They sleep on each other. Chris said that if Henry woke up and the other cat was making him uncomfortable he’d nip him and than lick him better.

Oh yeah I got some cat nip for Kitty. It came with a ball inside and he was biting and licking that ball like a mad kitty. He;d grab it steady with his two paws and really go at it. Some of the catnip that was on the ball fell off and he played and gathered it for quite a while flipping himself upside down right into the container of kitty litter. I spread a bit on his bed as well, even the next day he’d just constantly roll over in bed and sniff and lick it. That was entertaining. Oh and he saw an evil orange kitty outside and got a big and started breathing like he had an asthma attack. He wants to protect us.

The cat was out in the grass by the tree when the squirrels came. They were zipping back and forth through the yard and the kitty crouched down to hide. One of the squirrels got too close for his compfort so he got up and ran after it. He was tied down so he didn’t get too far. Poor scared cat. The blood thirsty squirrels were after him.

Chris has informed me that the Jessica saga is not over yet afterall. She didn’t pay her last month of rent oh so long ago and the landlord has turned it over to a collection agency. Fun times. Fuck I think I signed up origianlly with my parent number so they’ll priobably get harrassed, not that it is much better if they called on my cell.

Older Simpson Hallowe’en episodes are on. They are much better than the newer ones.

I’m not going to live in a house of evil to save a few dollars. haha.

I’m sleepy. I got to see baby rabbits at Waterloo park again. They were cute, and a pregnant goat. Also some weird turkey things that I didn’t see before. The goats were chasing after each other, it was quite a site to see, another goat was sniffing the but of the pregnant goat as she was pooping. The park was wonderfully quiet and deserted, no one was around Friday morning. I had the day off since I had my license plate transferred in the morning. We went around silver lake and found some of those historic Waterloo stands and saw the water drainage set up they had going on to keep the lake from overflowing. The lake use to have fish and boaters and swimmers. They also used it to provide ice to residents and hotels before freezers, nifty huh.

I still have to get some sort of metal putty thing to cover the rust spots on my car. I was allowed back home without it. I was pretty surprised, I thought my dad would be fussing over it until I got it. At least one of the fish Kathy gave me yesterday is dead. I am not too surprised, I didn’t really give them enough time to get use to the new water temperature. I cleaned her room up for her on Saturday while she studied. More cleaning was needed.

My back hurts so I took work off. My back hurts when I sit, it hurts when I stand, it hurts when I lay down.

Kitty tends to sleep next to me everynight now, I think he likes me. I don’t think it is warmth he is after, I’m not sure if he actually just likes being next to me at night when sleeping, if he thinks I’ll protect him since he is a big scaredy cat, or if it is because as soon as I am awake he will got after me for some petting and scratches. I know during the middle of the night I woke up and rolled over he meowed. I’m not sure if he was checking to see if I woke up or if it was because I rolled over on him. I hope I get better soon. I have been eating oranges like I am a soccer superstar.

This week certainly just zipped by. I can’t believe it is Thursday already, yay. Inu Yasha is what I am aiming to be for hallowe’en. I still have to get the materials I need for the costume. Off to sleep.

And I need to trim my nails, I hope I can keep it up until hallowe’en. It would be great if I also actually got around to getting a costume this year so my nails won’t go to waste. I am exhausted. I got home around 12.40am last night and after making sure the cat had food and water dropped to bed for sleep. The cat unfortunately was lonely all weekend so he wanted to play, and to get petted, and to bite me very hard. He also liked stuffing as much of his fur as he could up my nose.

I’m surprised I am still awake, than again I am hoping Kathy pops up online but I guess she is out socializing which is good, or she can’t get access to the school’s wireless. I should do that someday, socialize that is. I wonder if I am going to have the energy to stand up and make food. Earlier today I was contemplating riding my bike to the closest shop for some milk and other supplies but now I dream of the ability to stand under my own power. I spent more money today unfortunatley, on a webcam today so Kathy and I can have a video conference if we choose. Too bad the iSight is 190 bucks, it has some really useful features, meh. I think my parents get home soon, I’m sure the cat will bother them a lot. He was making a weird meow yesterday night when he finally left my room. I never heard him make this kind of meow, I think he was lonely or looking for Kathy or something because I know it wasn’t food, water, other cats, or that he was hurt. When I got home I put my keys on my bed. My keys have about 20 keys on it and two of those bands that you can use to wrap it around your wrist. He was attempting to pick one of them up with his mouth and than take off with it. They fell on the ground and than it looked like he was going to attempt to pick them up by the keys. Silly ole cat.

I have been having trouble sleeping all night long. Sometimes I seem to get up and have trouble falling back into deep sleep again. I also can’t seem to sleep in the car anymore, I really wish I could.

I got tickets to see Finger 11, Our Lady Peace, and Sloan in Stratford soon. I’m pretty excited, it has been quite a while since I have gone to a concert.

Kathy is playing Harvest Moon at the moment, I must say it is a lot easier to play that on a larger tv than her 13″ TV. We learned a new trick with the cat, if Kathy stands by the door to the basement the cat will go onto the steps and start to meow, and meow, and meow and doesn’t quit. It is pretty funny. Just now Kitty put one of his toy mice into a plastic bag than he went across the room, picked up the other in his mouth and dropped into the bag…than attacked the bag. I’m tired, and I feel a little hungry even though I made 4 tuna sandwich’s when I came in.
